Giclee ("Shee-Clay") is a French term meaning spray of ink. The painting are printed by the Iris printer. Images are high resolution digital scans, printed with archival quality inks onto paper or canvas. The Giclee process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction and it even picks up every brush stroke. The prints last longer than those produced from other traditional offset lithography and will not yellow nor crack. Each print goes through several quality control checks before the artist gives her final approval.
